Psychologist


Cortney Bindrich, Ed.D.is a dually-licensed school and clinical psychologist in Wisconsin and Illinois. Dr. Bindrich earned a doctoral degree in School Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology as well as an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, following the receipt of her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She completed her APA-approved clinical internship in Illinois and her two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology in Wisconsin. 

Working across school, hospital, and clinic settings, Dr. Bindrich understands how to meet a child and family’s unique needs and advocate for meaningful services and treatment based on their environment. Her expertise includes brain injury and concussions, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders, such as intellectual impairment, learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), attention-deficit disorders (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Bindrich also evaluates children, adolescents, and young adults for anxiety disorders and depression. She takes a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and intervention, utilizing the most current evidence-based practices in the fields of neuropsychology and education.

Dr. Bindrich was recently welcomed by Loyola University Chicago as a Clinical Assistant Professor in their School Psychology department. Her research interests include the relationship between attention, effort, and motivation and their impact on learning in the classroom. Additionally, she is an active participant of the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology (AAPdN) and the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN); to which she is also a member of their Women in Leadership Committee. Dr. Bindrich also delivers professional development presentations to families, educators, and professional associations.

In her free time, Dr. Bindrich enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, listening to podcasts, and watching movies. She is a native of Wisconsin and loves her Green Bay Packers!
