Dan Strissel

Psychologist

Dan Strissel, Ph.D., received his master’s and doctoral degrees in school psychology from Northern Illinois University. He has provided services in a wide variety of educational settings, most recently completing a pre-doctoral internship through TrueNorth Educational Cooperative 804 (formerly NSSED).

Throughout his training and career experiences, he has worked hard advocating for all learners to help them find success in school. He specializes in academic and behavioral assessment, systems-level coaching, data analysis, and working with adolescents with anxiety, depression, and other internalizing difficulties.

Dr. Strissel is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and has presented research at local and national conferences.
